Kristy Fisher, M.D.

Dr. Kristy Fisher is a dual board-certified pain management physician known for combining advanced interventional techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care. She treats both acute and chronic pain with a comprehensive approach that considers the whole person.

Dr. Fisher completed a competitive Pain Medicine Fellowship at Emory University (Atlanta, GA), where she trained extensively in image-guided procedures and minimally invasive therapies. Her hands-on experience includes kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, and tumor ablation, refined through specialized workshops and cadaver labs.

Her clinical background spans rotations at leading centers—including the University of South Florida, Mayo Clinic, and Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard University). Before subspecializing in pain medicine, Dr. Fisher finished her Psychiatry residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, where she earned multiple distinctions, including Resident of the Year (2023).

Dr. Fisher’s academic foundation is equally robust. She holds an M.D. and an M.S. in Neurological & Behavioral Tropical Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She also earned an MBA in Healthcare Management & Marketing and a B.S. in Biology from Stony Brook University—graduating with honors and receiving recognition such as Intern of the Year and an ASRA/APPD Advanced Interventional Pain Management Course scholarship.
