Anup Gangavalli, M.D., FAAOS

Dr. Anup Gangavalli is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and reconstructive spine surgery now practicing in our Boca Raton office. A talented surgeon, Dr. Gangavalli holds a BS in Neuroscience with Dual Honors in Research and a Minor in Chemistry from Stony Brook University in New York. He complete his Medical Degree at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

Dr. Gangavalli attended the Orthopedic Surgery Residency program at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem, PA being selected PGY-5 Chief Resident. Then, he completed his fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Spine in Cleveland, OH. This prestigious hybrid orthopedic/neurosurgery fellowship program is comprised only of three fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and two neurosurgeons.

Due to his extensive orthopedic and neurosurgery training, Dr. Gangavalli has gained ample experience in the diagnosis and treatment of adult spinal disorders such as spinal trauma, spinal infections, degenerative cervical/thoracic/lumbar spinal disease, spinal deformity, spinal tumors, congenital spinal abnormalities, and complex reconstruction and revision cervical and lumbar pathology.
