Welcome Dr. Anup Gangavalli, Our New Spine Surgeon
We are excited to announce that spine surgeon Anup Gangavalli, M.D., FAAOS has joined our Boca Raton medical team. Dr. Gangavalli is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive and reconstructive spine surgery.
Dr. Gangavalli brings with extensive knowledge and training to our Boca Raton spine center in a wide array of spinal disorders such as:
- Degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar disease
- Scoliosis and spinal deformity
- Congenital spinal abnormalities
- Intra-dural and extra-dural spinal tumors
- Spine trauma and injuries

A graduate of Stony Brook University School of Medicine, Dr. Gangavalli completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to coming to Boca Raton, Dr. Gangavalli completed his fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland, OH.
This sought-after hybrid orthopedic and neurological fellowship program is comprised only of top candidates nationwide. Only two fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and three fellowship-trained neurosurgeons are recruited each year to be part of the program.
